| Put our knowledge and experience
to work for you when searching for new homes in Alexandria, Arlington, and Washington DC. Looking at homes online is one
thing, but having competent representation and support is another.
We know what it takes to find the right condo, townhome, or single-family home for sale, and we want to make sure that you have all the
tools and information you need to make sound decisions.
Even if you're currently a homeowner in another state, the Northern
Virginia/DC Real Estate market can be pretty overwhelming.
It's a jungle out there, and simply put, you don't know what you
don't know! As your real estate consultants and advocates, our goals
are to guide you through the homebuying process from start to finish.
Our Game Plan:
- You will start with a loan approval
from a reputable local lender. You can surf the
web and attend open houses 'til you're blue in the face. You are
literally 'on the bench' until you have your approval letter. It's that necessary first step to buying a new home.
Good lenders will take your completed loan application and submit
it to underwriting. It's the next best thing unless you're offering
ALL CASH!
- Get instant email notifications
of new listings as they come on the market. We
have access to new construction homes, resales, foreclosures, short sales, bank owned, real-estate owned (REO), and For Sale By
Owner (FSBO) homes. Use this site to search and access the MLS for homes in Fairfax County, Arlington, Washington DC, and other areas in Northern Virginia.
- What's normal in one market, may
not be normal in the Northern Virginia real estate market.
Even if you've already bought and sold several homes outside of
Northern Virginia, We'll help you become acclimated to this local
market.
- Look at the asking price. Is
it comparable to other homes that have sold? How do you know if
it's overpriced? How do you know if it's a steal? Working with
a real estate professional gives you an edge. A competitive market
analysis is not just for sellers, it's for buyers too. This tool
helps you to determine how to structure your written purchase
offer.
- You
don't have to talk one-on-one with sellers. Part
of the job of a real estate professional is to act as a buffer
between you and the seller. We negotiate your terms objectively.
- Don't be overwhelmed by real estate
contracts. Our standard contracts and forms are
easy to understand. At our initial consultation, we will provide
you with a sample sales contract so that you can familiarize yourself
with the language and terms.
